Absent?

Sorry for my absence and lack of response via email the last week. Anne got sick last Friday and ended up being hospitalized on Monday. We got home late yesterday. Today was spent convalescing, much the same way we will spend tomorrow. No sewing of any kind has happened, mostly just worrying about my baby and taking the best care of her that I could.

Never fear, she has turned the corner and is on the upswing but may it took a lot out of both of us. I will be back next week for sure!

  1. Wishing her and you the best. Sometimes real life takes precedence. None of us are without other responsibilities, and completely understand when people have to disappear for a bit. It’s nice to know the danger is over, though.

I’m so sorry Anne was that sick! How frightening, and stressful for you. Here I was hoping you were creating something wonderful. I don’t like reality at all!

  5. How awful. I always feel terrible when loved ones are ill. Take care of yourself.
If mommy gets sick the family will really be in strife.

Oh dear. That is always harrowing. I am relieved that she is home and things can settle back into precious “ordinary”. Take good care of each other. We’ll be here when the time is right.

So sorry to hear Anne has been hospitalized as it is very scary when your children are not well. It is good to know that she is doing better and back at home.

As I tried and true, superhero fan, I’m loving the way this quilt is coming together. I’m currently cutting fabric for a new quilt. I don’t like cutting fabric but getting to piece it is my reward. I’m so glad Anne is out of the hospital and hope she’s doing better.
