Pricing for long arm quilting services on quilts larger than 60×60 are based on a per square inch (PSI) calculation and on consultation with the client to determine what options work best for your artistic vision and budget. Quilts smaller than 60×60 are charged by the hour at an hourly rate of $25.00 per hour when working on edge to edge designs, for custom work the PSI calculation applies.
All of my work is 100% hand guided and I offer the following quilting options:
- Basic edge to edge – a simple stipple is a good example of an edge to edge design. This starts at 1.75 cents PSI
- Custom edge to edge design as seen in this post. This starts at 3.5 cents PSI.
- Fully custom quilting designs as seen in this photo album. This starts at 4.5 cents PSI.
Per Square Inch is determined by multiplying the width of your quilt by the height. For example, if I had a 62″ x 62″ lap quilt it would be 3,844 square inches.
All quilt pricing is based on the customer consultation and the type of quilting selected.
Quilts requiring multiple thread color changes will incur a $10.00 thread fee
Warm and Natural 100% cotton batting is available for purchase for your convenience
Extra wide quilt backing and a limited supply of solids will be available for purchase as well.

I have a quilt that is about 89 x 102. I would want basic edge to edge. About how long would it take to quilt? How much of over lap do you want – 4″? When could you do it?
