Have you all seen the Quick Curve Ruler by Jenny Pedigo of Sew Kind of Wonderful? This ruler is amazing and the tutorials that Jenny has made to go with it are amazing. The ruler allows you to sew curved blocks and to sew them easily. I bought my Quick Curve Ruler back in March at the Sew Expo in Puyallup, WA, but I have to say the idea of sewing curves continued to intimidate the hell out of me. I finally decided to give it a shot in August and I started with a Jenny’s Urban 9 Patch block. I liked my results so much that I decided to make the same block for my 3×6 Bee Hive.
I actually made one more of the teal and purple blocks – I traded blocks with a couple of extra friends who really loved the block.
I won’t be participating in the 4th quarter of 3×6 this year, hopefully just taking this one quarter off so I can work on Christmas sewing and what not.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
