This weekend I was having a chat with my friend Shanna from Fiber of All Sorts about how it feels like we never get anything done and I decided to start a new feature on my blog. On Mondays (I’m going to aim for every Monday but that will depend on life) I am going to post something that I made, and by made I mean finished! One day a week where I focus on something that is done as opposed to a Work in Progress.
That all being said, here is what I made this weekend:
This past weekend I made the last 8 pillowcases for the Remember September Project with Hopeful Threads. I am hoping to have everything packaged and ready to ship in the next 2 weeks. I would like to send out a special thank you to Sondra from Contemporary Cloth for donating the 2 bolts of fabric that were used to make these (and more that Kristy made).
Right as I was sewing my last seam, Anne woke up and came running into my sewing room, and since I made her too (LOL) I thought I would share her with you!
Great job on the pillow cases.
Omg! Look at that adorable face! What a little sweetheart. 🙂
Oh yeah – good job on the pillow cases!
They look fabulous!!! Can’t wait to hear how they like their gifts!! 🙂
Wow! These look great! What an awesome sponsor.
I’ll post about what I actually finished too. Maybe even a summary page to remind myself I can actually finish a project.
great job!
I sure love that Little Darling that you “made”…she is precious! Love those hats! Maybe she will be a Milliner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pillowcases look wonderful! Can’t wait until they receive all of the special creations! XXXXXXX Sondra
Love the pillowcases and that sweet creation of yours! 🙂
What a cutie!
Great job….on both projects! LOL
Congratulations. I really would do something like that too, but that would mean I would have to finish something. Good luck with your goal of finishing more.
Melissa, you always have such great ideas! Although the pillowcases are Awesome and for a Great Cause…They can not hold a candle to Anne 😉
Great job on the pillow cases. I feel like a total failure on that front. =P The one I made was awful, and I gave it to a little girl. Then I got sick and I’m just now feeling almost right again. I know I won’t get any done, and I had such high hopes for doing several.
Oh, and she is the best thing you made! She is beautiful! Thank you for the smile!
I am especially found of the one you made too!
