I participate in a swap group on Facebook called Sew Swap It. This is the second swap I have participated in with this group and it has been so much fun. The women and men in this group are just wonderful, funny and so supportive of each other. The last swap of the year was for a Secret Santa Swap. We were given a list of items we could make and a name with their preferences. I was really excited when I found out who my partner was and then I was immediately intimidated. I knew immediately that I would not be making anything in Christmas fabrics because I wanted to make something that could be used year round. Here’s what I came up with:
The plate says “eat, drink, and”
I hand quilted the mug rugs that I made and I have it on good authority that the recipient of these goodies is planning on using the larger quilted square as a teapot rug! I am so excited that my gifts were well received. Are you participating in any swaps right now?
Super cute things! She is a lucky lady! 🙂
This is great! You are a great swap partner . . and it can be used all year long. 🙂
What a fun idea…I’ll have to look into participating in something like that. I love secret santas!
Fun collection of swap items 🙂
adorable, Melissa…I love this idea and your fabrics look great!
Melissa, those are so bright and cheerful — they must have brought a big smile to her face! Great job!
Melissa, you did an excellent job on all three of the Mug Rugs. I can see why the recipient would be smiling from ear to ear when she opened the package! Not participating in any swaps at the moment, but if I happen across one I just might join 🙂
What a great group! I signed up,,,have had the same issues as the founder of the group. Love your projects,,,,as usual LOL.
Great swap! Love what you made.
