Well, we made it to July, 2013 is officially half over. I’m not quite sure how we got here. The past month has been one of the most difficult in recent memory for me personally. I kept my mind busy with sewing and got significantly more accomplished that I anticipated. This month is probably going to be a bit different. I may or may not be traveling home to my parents which means I will have limited time to sew. I have one project that I want to get done. It is for a special little boy who is going through a special life changing event right now. I’ve never met him, but I know he is going to love what I have been working on with the ladies from the Trust Circle from Do. Good Sittches.
So how are you spending the first month of the second half of 2013? Working on Christmas Presents for Christmas in July? Summer projects? It is time to set your goals and put it out there into the universe that you will do your best to get it done!
You can link up here or with Shanna. Make sure you join the fun over on Flickr too! Please grab a button for your blog post to share the fun with everyone.

Thinking of you at this difficult time – I’m sure sewing will help.
I am seriously hoping that at the end of the month I have a sewing space again (other than the dining table in the living room!). And there is the small matter of a quilt to be backed, basted, quilted and bound!
June was certainly a doozy. I’m sorry you’ve got yucky stuff going on, and I hope it resolves soon for you. Thank you for taking the time to put up a nice linky post, and God bless!
I love that quilt top, and the black and red sashing just makes each block really pop! You and your family are in my prayers and you know where to find me if you need ANYTHING!
I’m sorry June was rough for you 🙁 I hope the summer gets better with time.
July will be interesting. School is out but I still need to get things accomplished. I’m lowering my expectations for what I can get done but ALYOF will definitely make sure I get a few things finished 🙂
So excited about this quilt!!!
And hey….maybe I can get my stuff together and join the “finishes” project this month and motivate myself to finish the quilt I started last month! 🙂
I hope July treats you much better.
I love that quilt!
I don’t know if it counts as Christmas in July, but it is a block of my Christmas quilt I want to be sure I finish this month, with all the distractions! Sounds like you are a little distracted, too. I hope all stays well with your parents.
Good luck with everything. I have a ton of goals, but no photos, so you know what, I’m not killing myself to link up this month, it’s someone else’s turn to win 🙂
I LOVE this quilt!!! 🙂 I have to figure out my goal! Maybe tomorrow I can link up!
I also was very happy to see the end of this month. Let’s hope July brings better things for us and our loved ones!
Oops! I accidentally linked up my quarterly goal setting post. Several of the goals are the same, I hope that is ok. I wasn’t able to delete my link and redo it.
Finally got my butt in gear and linked up. Still praying… That quilt is going to make a certain little boy’s year 🙂
Missed the deadline…but here it is anyway . http://kissedquilts.blogspot.com/2013/07/design-wall-monday-july-goals.html
Can anyone join ALYofFinishes? The linky is closed, but my goal for this month is to finish the star block for my star shadow quilt. I’m also hoping to get the other block cut.
