Yesterday I took Anne to one of the local quilt shops here to pick up some Superior Threads pre-wound bobbins for the Purple Quilt (I got these ones). While we were there we took a tour of the shop, focusing most attention on the long arm machine they have to rent there. Guess what I will be doing later this year! As we were about to pay Anne asks the nice lady who was helping us where the big spider they used to have was hanging up (it is a pretty cool quilted spider for Halloween). The lady was kind enough to show us to the new Holiday section of the store where the spider was moved to. While her and I were chatting about a cool Christmas quilt lit up with twinkle lights, Anne found a little box full of fat quarters. I had no intention of buying any fabric at the store until she said “But I can’t live without it mommy!” It was at that moment that I knew that I was raising a quilter! LOL I told my mom about it later in the day and she was so proud, my mom said “She’s just like me!” I guess it’s true, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
I leave you with a picture of Anne in all her glory (when she walked up to me dressed like this she said “I’m a lion tamer!”)
She is sooooo cute! I love your mini me!

So cute! And I love that she can’t live without fabric already!!
I love kids’ imaginations! They say the funniest thing.
Fabric is essential to life! 🙂 And she is such a cutie!
Love it! I wish I could buy Superior Threads locally but I have to buy online.
:0) so cute!
Hahaha! So dramatic!! She has such a wonderful personality! I know who to call when I find lions that need to be tamed.
Hehe, too cute!
Anne is so precious! Love hearing about their imaginations and adventures little ones have. Had Jayden this week and everything he asked for ended with “Pleaseeeeee” with his little head turned sideways and a darling smile on his face, hehe. Have a great weekend!

Wonderful imagination!
I love your lion tamer.
Love that purple color! You will fall in love with longarm quilting – I foresee one in your house in a few years! Anne looks adorable. I don’t know about lions, but I’d be tamed!
ROFL, that’s what all the best lion tamers are wearing this season 😉 Enjoy the long arming 🙂
