Well August is just starting to wrap up and I have to say, this month was another failure. If you have been following my blog this past week you will already know that my husband deployed. This has thrown my life out of whack and shifted my priorities. Some progress was made on my goal, I purchased the fabrics, but I didn’t do anything else. I worked on lots of other things, including an awesome Halloween project for Anne. I am setting a personal goal to have this one done before Halloween but I’m not beating myself up for letting it slip this month.
What was your goal? I hope you were more successful than I was!
You have two requirements to be entered into the prizes this month.
1. Link-up {on this post} the first 7-days of the month
and
2. Link-up in the last 7-days of the month.
Add your blog post or flickr photo (with appropriate descriptions) to the linky party below.
Please grab a button or link back to Shanna and I so other people can join in the fun!
**Please note, the linky party is the same here and over at Shanna , so there is no need to enter twice **

It is so hard when hubbies are deployed. I was a submarine wife for 24 years. Loving that he’s home now. Can I be entered if i don’t have a blog? I finished my Row by Row quilt and am patting myself on the back. Not all of the instructions were conducive to a confident beginner. Keep you chin up and enjoy your children.
I’m not quite finished with my goal, but a lot farther along than I was on August 1. =) We’ll see if I finish in the next few days. You’ve had a lot happening. It’ll get done next month.
Good luck everyone 🙂
It’s ok if you fell short. Just think how short you would fall without any goals at all! I saw your post earlier about the deployment. My heart aches for you. I know how you feel. Our daughter is married to a Navy man and they are deployed to Japan right now. Not quite the same but the absence is still there. Hang in there girl! Praying for all of you!
I’m sorry you’ve had a tough month but at least you still have that costume to look forward to!
Hugs. You will get into a routine… Change is hard for all….
