I love this age, Santa is finally fun and exciting, as opposed to scary and frightening. I thought I would share Anne’s picture with Santa this year. We aren’t visiting a mall Santa. Instead, our local fire department came to our neighborhood with one of the trucks decked out with lights and music, complete with Santa. They also don’t ask for money for pictures, instead they ask for canned food items to fill our local food bank. It is a win-win. Happy kids and helping our community!
And here is a shot of the truck. The people riding on top are Santa’s Helpers, they collect all of the donations.
Santa was kind enough to whisper in my ear what Anne asked for too, so that makes my life so much easier!
How fun! That is one super Santa you let you know her wish.
Kudos to Santa for helping you out! And bravo! to the firemen who are helping the hungry! Awesome!
Good on Santa!!! That’s the perfect way to have Santa visit…I’ll have to mention it to the guys at our volunteer fire department!!
What a great idea! I love the picture! I’m thinking it’s gotten too expensive for a screaming child to be forced to sit on Santa’s lap for a $25 picture!
Santa in a fire hat – that’s great! And what a nice Santa to help spread the word. Merry Christmas early!
Great idea to help the needy and entertain the kids at the same time! Nice of Santa to share too 😉
